Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Gift of Moments (the "app"), and this website, handle information. Gift of Moments is a product of USA Raja Creator Tools, operated by RAJ CREATIONS LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
Gift of Moments has not yet publicly launched. This policy describes how the current native app — built with Expo and React Native for iOS and Android — and this website handle information. Some details, like the exact timing of temporary-file cleanup and our final legal terms, are still being finalized ahead of public release; where that's the case, we say so plainly below instead of guessing. We will update this page as needed before and after launch.
Photos and videos you select
Gift of Moments only accesses the photos and videos you specifically choose, through your device's own media picker — selection happens only after you tap to open it. The app uses those photos and videos solely to build the video you are creating.
Microphone and voice recordings
Gift of Moments lets you record a spoken narration to include in your video gift. The app requests microphone access only when you choose to start a recording — it never records in the background or without your action. Recordings are processed entirely on your device: they are not uploaded anywhere. From within the app, you can play back a recording, re-record it, trim it, adjust how loud it is relative to your video's original sound and any background music, or delete it entirely before your video is exported. A narration recording becomes part of your project only if you choose to keep it, and is removed if you delete it or delete the project.
Music and audio files you select
You may select an audio file through your device's document picker to use as music in your project. The app accesses only the specific file you choose, for use in the video you are creating. See our Music & Content Policy for the rules around music you import or that we provide.
Captions and other text you enter
Any captions or other text you type into the app are stored as part of your project. This text is intended to stay with your project and be used only to build the video you export.
Device permissions
The app requests permission to access your photo library only when needed for a feature you use — for example, when you add media through the picker, or save your finished video. It requests microphone access only when you choose to record a voice narration. You can review or change permissions at any time in your device's system settings. Declining a permission may limit which features of the app are available to you.
Video processing, exports, and whether media leaves your device
Video rendering happens locally on your device — using Apple AVFoundation on iOS and Android Media3 on Android. The app currently has no company backend or media-upload server, and your selected photos, videos, and project media are not intentionally transmitted to RAJ CREATIONS LLC or uploaded to our servers. If a future version adds a feature that requires server processing, we will update this policy to describe it before that feature is enabled. Your finished video stays on your device unless you explicitly save it to your photo library or share it using your device's share sheet — a sharing service you choose may then process the file under its own privacy policy. Saving to your photo library is requested only when you choose to save your finished video.
In-app purchases
Creating your video gift is free. Unlocking the finished video — removing the preview watermark and enabling full-screen playback, saving without a watermark, and sharing — is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. This purchase is handled entirely by Apple's App Store (or Google Play, on Android) using their own payment systems. We do not see, collect, or store your payment card details or other payment information — that is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. Your purchase is recorded by Apple or Google against your own App Store or Google Play account, which is how the app confirms your unlock and lets you restore it if you reinstall the app or use it on another of your own devices signed into the same store account.
Personal data we collect
The current native app has no user account or login, no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no social-media SDK, no company tracking system, and no Firebase, Sentry, or similar backend SDK. The app does not automatically upload your media, and we do not sell your personal information. If we later introduce features that involve collecting personal data (such as an optional account or cloud backup), we will update this policy to describe them before they are enabled.
Cloudflare Web Analytics on this website
This website (the pages you are reading right now, at giftofmoments.usarajacreatortools.com) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand overall visits to the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individuals across websites. This is separate and distinct from the Gift of Moments mobile app itself, which is covered by the sections above.
Advertising
The current native app includes no advertising SDK. If that changes in a future version, we will update this policy first.
Third-party libraries used by the app
The current native app is built with Expo and React Native, and uses these packages: Expo Image Picker and Document Picker (for selecting your photos, videos, and audio files), Expo Media Library (for saving your finished video to your photo library), Expo Sharing (for the share sheet), Expo File System (for managing project files on your device), Expo Localization (for language support), Expo Audio (for audio playback), and Expo Asset, Font, Linear Gradient, and Status Bar (for app resources and visual styling). These packages perform their stated function and are not advertising, analytics, or tracking tools.
Data retention and deletion
Your projects, including any photos, videos, music, and captions you've added, are intended to remain on your device under your control. Working files may remain in the app's local storage or operating-system-managed cache until they are replaced, cleared by the operating system, or the app is removed — the exact schedule for clearing temporary files and cache is still being finalized, and we'll update this section once that's confirmed. You can delete a project or its contents at any time from within the app or by using your device's normal file and photo management tools. Because everything is stored only on your device with no cloud backup, deleting the app or losing your phone will permanently remove your projects and drafts as well.
Children's privacy
Gift of Moments is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] so we can address it.
Security
We take reasonable steps intended to protect information related to the app and this website. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International users
Gift of Moments and this website may be accessed by users in different countries. Because video rendering happens locally on your device and the app currently has no backend server, we don't expect your project media to cross borders as part of using the app. Final App Store and Google Play territories are still being decided and will be reflected in our store listings at launch.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including as the app moves from development toward launch. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
